Are these good enough gifts to give to my family for Christmas? (2009)?
Hey! So to cut to the chase here’s the gist -

I’m 13. Going to Washington D.C. so my parents our paying 1,315 dollars out of pocket for me to go. I usually only get cheep-o’s/ crappy on sale items. And I have a 100.00 dollar limit!

MY MOM - Jim Cantore Autograph, Photo made out to her, A t-shirt.
MY DAD - (he is a hdown in the dirt electrician) A shirt from the men’s limited, socks, some restaurant gift card.
MY MIDDLE SISTER- (10) Aeropostale Shirts, Mrs.Fields Cookies Gift Card, Slippers
MY YOUNGEST SISTER- (8) Justice Gift Card, Mrs.Fields Cookies Gift Card, Slippers.

Honey, you hearts in the right place.

Keep it there and you will never go wrong!

Merry Christmas and God bless.

Sounds good to me, but I would suggest getting your dad a leatherman if he doesn’t already have one. It may be out of your price range, but if you find one on sale, I strongly suggest grabbing him one of those.

You’re a doll! It’s nice to see a young person here talking about what they are GIVING instead of talking about what they want to receive!

The gifts sound very nice. As a parent, I can say that I love anything my kids give me but my favorite things are pictures (especially ones taken without my knowledge), videos, treats, paintings and other things they create or make, and their time– especially as they grow older and more busy.

Date cards are really nice. Like, type up some cards where you’re promising picnics, walks, or whatever with your parents. Make some where you set the date and some where they can "cash in" when they feel like it. This is a great gift because it’s free for you (or the expense is spread throughout the year) and the gift keeps on giving all year round.

And have a VERY happy holiday season!
